The inaugural ceremony was held at NO:7A, Jalan Mohd Tahir 8, Taman Sri Mewah 4 Off Sungai Jati, Klang (KPAC official address) last Sunday. 20years after the club was formed finally members can really look into what the club lead by president, Mr Wong Soon Pin and his group of committees had achieved so far and what we have brought, in term of sport developments as well as better financial situation.
THE BREAKFAST RUN
It was a moderate run organized to get members together. The 10k run was initially planned for seasoned runners but surprisingly it attracted few first timers as young as 13 years old. And as usual, our friend, Encik Zainuddin offered himself to lead the warm up session which took about 20 minutes. Approximately 30 members participated in the run and off they go at 6.50a.m. The front pack was lead by our ever active and hardcore runner president.
More members arrived later for the shorter distance fun run -5k which the vice president Mr Lum Kiok Ming took charge. Members of all races including new faces participated and enjoyed this run very much.
THE OPENING CEREMONY
It was indeed a memorable day and a proud one for us, the KPAC members. The opening ceremony of our club house was officially graced by our two honorable advisers, Dato Sellathevan and Mr Law Kee Sok. Thank you very much to both of them for spending some time with us.
The simple ribbon cutting ceremony was withnessed by those attended with overwhelming joyous applause.
Food, fruits and drinks were served. We even have a separated breakfast for our Muslim runners and friends.
Later, the much awaited event arrived, the lucky draw. And again our advisers were given the honors to pick the lucky ones alternately.
The ceremony came to the end at around 10.30a.m
