One of the most popular running event in Klang Valley finally back again after a lapse of two years.The popularity is visibly indicated by the participation of thousands who turned up this morning at Kompleks Sukan MPSJ.
Despite fewer number of medals were offered-only 10 medals for each category-runners came in drove as early as 5.30am to take part in the carnival like atmosphere event which was gunned off by our Menteri Besar,Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
I guess one of the main factor was the cheap registration fee which comes together with nice t shirt and of course the goodies bag.Certificates were only for those who qualified within the stipulated time.
The family category attracted many parents who brought along their children for the shorter 3km run.It was heartening to see many kids on the street,fathers carrying their toddler in the shoulder and the mothers pushing the prams to outdo each others.
Only a handful of KPAC runners took part.The seasoned members opt for longer distance as preparation for the up coming SCKLM hence only the hardcore turned up.
