Breakfast Run at Centro - 06/09/2009
More than 200 participants comprised of ardent runners from various running clubs besides the KPAC's and family members hit the street this morning in the Centro Breakfast Run.KPAC collaborated with Centro on organising this run and it attracted many as far as KL.
A cool 'after rain' morning was an ideal day for a family outing and most of them grabbed this opportunity to take a stroll along the usual busy Jalan Batu Tiga Lama towards Jalan Bukit Kuda to complete a 6km run.
The starting for the breakfast run and the second round for some...they already completed a loop earlier
We would like to thank Mr Ching (the director of Centro),Mr Wei (Sales manager of Stream Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd),members of Bukit Jalil Running Club and PACM,Mr Peter Goh and his gang and not forgetting our members and friends for their attendance.Without them this fun run will not be a success.
The objective of the run was to brief the KPAC members and volunteers on the route to be used for the Centro Run on the 11th October soon.
Guests of honour: From L to R...Mr Ching,Mr Wei,Ng Sam Hang (KPAC's Asst Secretary) and Jimmy Yang (KPAC's Treasurer)
Free light breakfast was later served and we hope everyone had had a good time enjoying this small gathering.
Everyone gathered at the entrance of Centro Building for a short briefing by KPAC's president
A group photograph before the fun run
KPAC's hardcore runners:From L to F...Murali Nathan,Gunaseelan and Naresh Kumar
It was an honour to have these runners to be with us this morning..Mr Tan Wah Sing (left)from Kuantan PACM and Mr Wong (right) Klang's PACM group.
...and a tasty 'bak kut teh' breakfast with all the guests and committee members at Centro

Merdeka Run at Taman Rakyat - 31/08/2009
This small scale run was organised by the Klang's Persatuan Hakka meant for committee members of various Chinese associations in Klang. The response was good despite many participants seldom put on their jogging shoes.
The ladies and the veterans were made to run two laps of approximately 1.5km each around the Taman Rakyat hilly jogging track. The favorites were easily spotted,Ms Alice and our president were dominated their respective group.Lim Boon Wah and myself were trailing behind while another KPAC's member,Hansom Quek a distance away in 4th position in the veteran's category.
Later the younger ones were flagged off after the last veteran participant completed his 'walk'.Again our member Seah Leong San,the clear favorite to win this 4 laps gruelling run and his challenger none other than veteran runner,Mr Peter Goh.Seah finished first in 28 minutes.
But the main talk at Taman Rakyat this morning was car break ins.Three cars were broken into and ransacked.Valuables and cash were reported missing.
Please look out for a red Perodua Kancil with registration number BEF 9xxx.The occupants looked suspicious and they would drive away when approached.
